Welcome back to a new year with Division 14! We have many exciting events planned for you this year. Before I tell you of these events, there are several new people that I would like to recognize. The new Perspectives Editor is Barbara Rodriquez from the University of New Mexico. This is her first issue, and you will find it to be another invaluable tool for your work with multicultural populations. I will talk more about the contents of this issue later. Debra Vigil, from the University of Reno-Nevada, has been learning the ropes as the new Continuing Education Administrator (CEA). She has already contributed in many ways besides her “official” duties. We have two outstanding new committee members, Deb Rhein from New Mexico State University and Karen Harris from the University of West Georgia. They are both hard at work helping to plan the upcoming Division 14 conference, an event that members have been requesting for many years and we are excited to bring to you!
