Our first Division 14 Research Conference on June 6-7 was a resounding success! I know many of you were able to attend and had a wonderful experience. There were approximately 90 attendees who were able to spend a lot of time “just talking” and learning from the experts and from each other. You can look forward to several of the papers from this conference in our next Perspectives issue. We definitely want to do this again and hope that it will become a biennial occurrence. There is a great need to maintain a high level of attention on the research that is being conducted with our culturally and linguistically diverse clients, patients, and students. This will be one way for us to maintain a continuing stream of evidence for practice delivery.
