By the time this issue of Perspectives reaches you, we will be in the waning days of 2013. I trust that this has been a year filled with growth and satisfaction, both personally and professionally. Even now, there's still time to make good on those resolutions that we made back on January 1, 2013. At the very least, we can make another go at them. My piano keyboard has been gathering dust for months. A couple of years ago, I resolved that I would give a “debut recital” as a holiday treat for my friends and family. For the second year in a row, I'm afraid all I will have to offer is another excuse instead of an étude. Maybe next year…
